Section 45(1) in The Calcutta Metropolitan Water And Sanitation Authority Act, 1966
(1)The Authority shall provide supply of water throughout the District for domestic, commercial, industrial, recreational and other private or public purposes in accordance with such public health standards as may be prescribed, and the Authority may regulate the hours, quantity and pressure of such supply.
