(3)The [State Government] [Throughout the Act, the words 'Provincial Government' were substituted for the words 'Local Government' by the Adaptation Order, 1937, and the word 'State' was substituted for 'Provincial' by the Adaptation Order, 1950.] shall fix the strength of the trust, the number of trustees to be elected under clause (b) of sub-section (1), the local authorities by whom they shall be elected, the number of trustees to be appointed by the [State Government] [Throughout the Act, the words 'Provincial Government' were substituted for the words 'Local Government' by the Adaptation Order, 1937, and the word 'State' was substituted for 'Provincial' by the Adaptation Order, 1950.] under clause (c) of sub-section (1) and the number of trustees to be elected or nominated under sub-section (2) and the bodies or associations by whom they shall be elected or nominated: Provided that the number of trustees appointed by the [State Government] [Throughout the Act, the words 'Provincial Government' were substituted for the words 'Local Government' by the Adaptation Order, 1937, and the word 'State' was substituted for 'Provincial' by the Adaptation Order, 1950.] shall not exceed one-third of the sanctioned strength.
