(1)This Act may be called the Food Corporations Act, 1964.(2)It extends to the whole of India [***] [Omitted by Act 67 of 1972, Section 2].(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [17th December, 1964; vide Notification No. G.S.R. 1808, dated the 16th December, 1964, Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Pt.
