(1)This Act may be called the Punjab Borstal Act, 1926.(2)It extends to [Haryana] [Substituted vide Haryana Adoption of Laws Order, 1968 for words 'Punjab'.].(3)It shall come into force on such date as the [State] [Substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government may by notification appoint in this behalf.
