Section 77 in The Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1973
77. Certain officers to assist officers of Enforcement .-The following officers are hereby empowered and required to assist the officers of Enforcement in the enforcement of this Act, namely:-
(a)officers of the Customs Department;(b)officers of the Central Excise Department;(c)officers of Police;(d)officers of the Central or State Government employed at any port or airport;(e)such other officers of the Central or State Government or a local authority as are specified by the Central Government in this behalf by notification in the Official Gazette.
