12.2-1/2 hrs. THE MINISTER OF PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS AND MINISTER OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (SHRI PRAMOD MAHAJAN): Sir, with your permission, I rise to announce that Government Business during the week commencing Monday, the 31st July, 2000 will consist of:-
1. Consideration and Passing of the following Bills:-
(a) The Madhya Pradesh Re-organisation Bill, 2000
(b) The Uttar Pradesh Re-organisation Bill, 2000 © The Bihar Re-organisation Bill, 2000
2. Consideration of any item of Government Business carried over from today’s Order Paper.
3. Consideration and passing of the following Bills as passed by Rajya Sabha:-
The Army and Airforce (Disposal of Private Property) Amendment Bill, 2000
(b) The Indian Power Alcohol (Repeal) Bill, 2000, and © The Chemical Weapons Convention Bill, 2000
4. Consideration and passing of the State Financial Corporations (Amendment) Bill, 2000.

डा. संजय पासवान (नवादा) : अध्यक्ष महोदय, पूर्व रेलवे के किउल-गया रेल खण्ड में उग्रवाद को समाप्त करने के लिए, रोजगार के अवसर बढ़ाने के लिए एवम् मध्य बिहार के चतुर्दिक विकास हेतु दिल्ली-हावड़ा-गुवाहाटी एवम् सियालदाह हेतु एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों को चलाना अति आवश्यक है।
श्री रवीन्द्र कुमार पाण्डेय (गरिडीह) : अध्यक्ष महोदय, निम्नलखित विषय को अगले सप्ताह की कार्यसूची में जोड़ा जाए--
भारत कोकिंग कोल लिमेटेड के कर्मचारियों को वर्ष १९९४ से १९९९ तक रियायत यात्रा अवकाश और एल.टी.सी. की बकाया राशि का शीघ्र भुगतान करने की अपेक्षा।
दामोदर घाटी निगम के अंतर्गत १७५ मेगावाट विद्युत उत्पादन क्षमता वाली `ए` ताप विद्युत केन्द्र, बोकारो थर्मल को शीघ्र चालू कराने की अपेक्षा।
प्रो. रासासिंह रावत (अजमेर) : अध्यक्ष महोदय, कृपया आगामी सप्ताह की कार्यसूची में निम्न विषयों को सम्मिलित कर कृतार्थ करें।
राजस्थान राज्य के लघु उद्योगों के लिए राज्य में समानान्तरण विपणन प्रणाली के अंतर्गत केरोसिन की पर्याप्त आपूर्ति न होने से व बाजार भाव काफी अधिक होने से लघु औद्योगिक इकाइयों विशेषकर पत्थर उद्योग एवम् टेक्सटाइल यूनिट की आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति हेतु व उन्हें सम्बल प्रदान करने के लिए सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली की अनुदानित दरों पर २५०० किलोलीटर केरोसिन प्रति माह अतरिक्त आबंटन करने की आवश्यकता।
देश में पेट्रोलियम पदार्थों की बढ़ती हुई मांग को देखते हुए तथा राजस्थान राज्य के पश्चिमी क्षेत्र में पाए जाने वाले प्राकृतिक गैस एवम् तेल का शोधन करने हेतु इंडियन ऑयल कॉरपोरेशन के तत्वावधान में राजस्थान में रिफाइनरी स्थापित किए जाने की आवश्यकता।
DR. A.D.K. JAYASEELAN (TIRUCHENDUR): Mr. Speaker Sir, the following items may be included in the next week's agenda:-
Need to allocate funds for development of infrastructural facilities at township of Nanguneri and nearby areas in Tiruchendur Parliamentary Constituency in view of special economic zone being set up there.
Need to introduce a direct train from Kanyakumari to Tuticorin via Tiruchendur and Nanguneri considering that exports from special economic zone at Nanguneri will be handled at Tuticorin harbour.
श्री रामानन्द सिंह (सतना) : अध्यक्ष महोदय, केन्द्र पूर्वातित गरीबी उपशमन की योजनाओं पर जिनमें जवाहर रोजगार योजना, प्रधान मंत्री रोजगार योजना, जीवन जल धारा योजना आदि अनेक योजनायें शामिल हैं, के मध्य प्रदेश में समुचित क्रियान्वयन पर चर्चा कराई जाये।

The situation arising out of the decline in prices of Coconut and its allied products.
The declining trend of rubber prices due to the import of natural rubber from outside.
SHRI G.M. BANATWALLA (PONNANI): Mr. Speaker Sir, the following items may be included in the next week's agenda:-
Discussion on selection of unauthorised colonies in Delhi for regularisation and the heavy penalties imposed.
The functioning of the Archaeological Survey of India and protests made by historians with respect to excavations and non-publication of authorised reports thereon.
डा. सुशील कुमार इन्दौरा (सिरसा) : अध्यक्ष महोदय, देश में कपड़ा उद्योग, श्रम प्रधान होने के साथ-साथ विदेशी मुद्रा अर्जित करने वाला प्रमुख उद्योग है। अभी-अभी समाचार प्रकाश में आया है कि कपड़ा सिलाई के उद्योग को, लघु उद्योग के लिए आरक्षित सूची में से हटाने का निर्णय लिया जा रहा है, जो सही नहीं है। इस विषय पर चर्चा की आवश्यकता है।
डा. लक्ष्मीनारायण पाण्डेय (मंदसौर) : अध्यक्ष महोदय, आपसे अनुरोध है कि आगामी सप्ताह की कार्यसूची में निम्न विषय को सम्मिलित करने का कष्ट करें।
१. मध्य प्रदेश की एन.टी. सी. द्वारा संचालित वस्त्र मिलों के निराकरण के बारे में बी.आई.एफ.आऱ. द्वारा अनुशंसा किए जाने के बावजूद भी केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा किसी प्रकार की कार्यवाही न किए जाने से श्रमिकों में बढ़ता असंतोष।
२. केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा वभिन्न कृषि उपजों के समर्थन मूल्य घोषित होने के बावजूद राज्यों द्वारा कृषि फसलों की खरीद की दोषपूर्ण व्यवस्था होने के कारण किसानों को घोषित समर्थन मूल्य का लाभ नहीं मिलने से किसानों में व्याप्त असंतोष।

The hon. Home Minister was kind enough to reply to us yesterday. Now, after the Prime Minister's statement, the hon. Home Minister may please inform the House about this incident. … (Interruptions)
