3. Transfer of territories.As from the appointed day, there shall be added--
(a)to the State of Andhra Pradesh, the territories specified in the First Schedule which shall thereupon cease to form part of the State of Madras; and(b)to the State of Madras, the territories specified in the Second Schedule which shall thereupon cease to form part of the State of Andhra Pradesh.
