Section 23(1) in The Madhya Bharat Vagrants, Habitual Offenders and Criminals (Restrictions and Settlement) Act, 1952
(1)Whoever, being a person against whom an order of restriction or an order of settlement has been made and having been convicted of any of the offences under the Indian Penal Code specified in the Schedule, is convicted of the same or of any other offence specified in the Schedule shall, on conviction be punishable with transportation for life, or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years.
