Section 347(4) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965
(4)Any person who immediately before the appointed day was holding the post of the Engineer of any borough municipality under sub-section (5) of section 34 of the Bombay Municipal Boroughs Act, 1925 (Bombay XVIII of 1925) shall, with effect from the appointed day and subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), be deemed to be appointed the Municipal Engineer of the successor Council under section 75 of this Act.
