257. Powers of Assistant Collector of the second class
. - An Assistant Collector of the second class shall have power to dispose of all suits specified in serial Nos. 1 to 6, inclusive, of Group A of the Fourth Schedule, in which the value of the subject-matter docs not exceed two hundred rupees, and except as otherwise provided in this Act, a tahsildar shall have power to dispose of suits specified in Group A and B of the Fourth Schedule.
