Section 28B(1) in The Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961
(1)No person shall convene, hold or attend any public meeting within any electoral division within twenty-four hours before the date of commencement of the poll or on the date or dates on which a poll is taken for election in that electoral division.
