Section 1 in The U.P. Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 1992
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 1992.(2)It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.(3)Sections 2 to 11 shall be deemed to have come into fore on February 3, 1992, and the remaining provisions shall come into force at once.
