33C. Special Provision in respect of existing schools.
(1)The management of every private institution existing on the date of commencement of the Andhra Pradesh Education (Amendment) Act, 1987 desirous of registering the school in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter may make an application for registration in accordance with the provisions of section 33-B to the competent authority within sixty days from such commencement and if no application is made within the said period or where the application is rejected, the institution shall continue to be a private institution.
