Section 81(1) in Delhi Prisons (Inspection, Meetings and Duties of Officers) Rules, 1988
(1)It shall be the duty of every warder to call the attention of the Medical Staff to any female prisoner who complaints of being, or appears to be ill; to satisfy herself that every female prisoner who is sick receives the special diet (if any) at any time prescribed for her by the Medical Officer and that all female prisoners at any time in any special or convalescent gang, are duly supplied with any special or extra diet ordered for them, or any of them, by the Medical Officer.
