14. Recovery of arrears of rent etc
. - If arrears of rent or other charges are not paid to the competent authority or to such other officer to whom powers are delegated on the due date or within the extended period, such arrears with all costs of recovery shall be recoverable as arrears of land revenue, and the person liable to pay the same shall be deemed to be in unauthorised occupation of the house concerned.
