Section 15(1) in Gujarat Irrigation and Drainage Act, 2013
(1)Where there does not exist field channel in any service area in which lands are capable of being irrigated from a canal, the State Government may construct the field channel in the public interest at the cost of the State Government, which is likely to be needed for construction of proposed field channel.
