Section 9(1) in The Delhi Metro Railway (Procedure to be followed by the Claims Commissioner and amount of compensation payable in case of death and injuries due to accidents) Rules, 2007
(1)Where on the date fixed for bearing the application or any other date to which such hearing may he adjourned, the applicant appears and the representative of Metro Railway Administration does not appear, the Claims Commissioner may, in his discretion adjourn the hearing or hear and decide the application ex-parte.
