(1)Standing crops and other ungathered produce may, notwithstanding the distraint, be tended, and after notice to the distrainer be reaped, and gathered by the owner of the crop.(2)If the owner of the crop neglects to tend, reap or gather the said crop or produce, the distrainer may do so at the expense of the owner.(3)The distrained property shall be placed in the charge of some person appointed by the distrainer for the purpose; the person so appointed shall store the same in some convenient place in the neighbourhood at the expense, of the owner.
