Section 3 in Manipur Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2014
3. Prohibition on conversion or reclamation of paddy land.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in the Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms Act, 1960 (No. 33 of 1960), on and from the date of commencement of this Act, the holder of paddy land shall not undertake any activity for the conversion or reclamation of such paddy land except in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
