(o)"University" means the [Madurai-Kamaraj University] [This expression was substituted for the expression 'the Madurai University' by section 4 of the Madurai University (Amendment and Special Provisions) Act, 1978 (Tamil Nadu Act No. 38 of 1978) which was deemed to have come into force on the 22nd July 1978.];
