Section 203(3) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(3)Where, at the instance of the Commissioner a metre is, fixed to any connection for the supply of water, he may require the owner or occupier concerned to pay -(a)the cost of the metre or such rent in respect thereof as may be fixed by the council; and(b)the charge for fixing the metre.
