sdas rejected C.R.M. 9683 of 2018 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed on 30.10.2018 in connection with Samserganj Police Station Case No. 278 of 2017 dated 24.08.2017 under Sections 489B/489C of the Indian Penal Code.

And In Re : Monojit Mondal & Ors. ..... petitioners Mr. Tapodip Gupta ... for the petitioners Mr. Sudip Ghosh ... for the State Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for one year and two months and they have been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Having considered the materials in the case diary prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioners in dealing in fake currency notes of a large volume, we are not inclined in granting bail to the petitioners at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected. Trial Court, however, is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
