- For the purposes of this Act, the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette declare any area, within the district to be a Block and name that Block; and(a)include any area within that district in the Block so declared;(b)exclude any area from any such Block, or(c)transfer any area from one Block to another within the same district.
