The prayer in the present petition is to quash the Adoption Deed vide which the minor child was given in adoption by respondent No.6 to respondent No.7 notwithstanding that the petitioner is the natural guardian of the minor.
It is further contended that the said child has now been relocated to Australia. It has been informed by the Addl. Solicitor General of India that whenever any adopted child is to be shifted, a No Objection Certificate has to be obtained from Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) and that before grant of such no objection, it also seeks report from the country where such adopted child is to be relocated. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner thus seeks withdrawal of the present writ petition so as to pursue her remedies before CARA and/or take recourse to any other alternative remedy as may be advised for redressal of grievance of the petitioner.
Disposed of as not pressed at this stage with liberty as aforesaid to enable the petitioner to pursue her remedies as advised.
