Section 37(2) in Inter-State Migrant Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Punjab) Rules, 1983
(2)In the event of migrant workman or any of his family members suffering from any ailment requiring hospitalisation during his employment in the establishment, the contractor shall promptly arrange for the hospitalisation of the migrant workman or the concerned member of his family. The contractor shall bear entire expenses on treatment, hospital charge (including diet), if any, and travel expenses for the patient from the place of his residence to the hospital and back.
