Section 2(b) in The Rajasthan Lands (Restrictions on Transfer) Act, 1976
(b)"competent authority" means any person or authority authorised by the Government, by notification in the Official Gazette, to perform the functions of the competent authority under this Act, for such areas as may be specified in the notification:
