Section 241(2)(c) in The Tamil Nadu Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006

(c)obtain signature or thumb-impression of each such building worker against the entries relating to him, on the register of wages and such entries shall be authenticated by the employer or his authorised representative.
