Section 39 in The Petroleum And Natural Gas (Safety In Offshore Operations) Rules, 2008
39. Medical fitness of offshore going employees .-The operator shall ensure that-
(a)minimum physical efficiency criteria are laid down to maintain and enhance safety standards; and(b)only medically fit persons who meet the minimum physical efficiency standards are allowed to work on the installation.
