(2)[] [Existing section 50 renumbered as sub-section (2) by Act No.17 of 1976.] Where an order for the confiscation any property was passed under section 45 or section 47 and the period limited by section 49 for presenting an appeal from such order has elapsed, and no such appeal was presented, or where, on such an appeal being presented, the appellate court confirms such order in respect of the whole or a portion of such property, such property or portion, as the case may be shall vest in the Government free from all encumbrances.
