Section 32(1) in The Goa, Daman and Diu Land Revenue (Disposal of Government Lands) Rules, 1971
(1)Unalienated unoccupied land may be granted under section 26 in leasehold rights by the Collector subject to the previous sanction of the Government for a term of 25 years for manufacture of salt, on payment of rent equal to 5 per cent of the market value of the land or rupees 65 per hectare whichever is more, with option at the instance of the lessee for one renewal of the lease for a like period in favour of the lessee, subject to the payment of revised rent to be fixed by the Government, and such additional conditions as the Collector with the previous sanction of the Government may, having regard to the circumstances containing on the date of such renewal, deem fit to impose.
