Section 180B in U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Rules, 1952

(1)In the case of an asami holding from a bhumidhar or a sirdar where the rent is payable but not determined on is payable in kind or on estimate of appraisement of the standing crop or on rates varying with crop sown or partly in one of such ways and partly in another or other of such ways, the rent shall be commuted at [* * *] double the amount computed at applicable hereditary rates.
(2)Where there are no hereditary rates, the court shall calculate the rates after taking into consideration the rents payable by sirdars, holding land of similar quality and advantages in the vicinity of the land held by the asamis.]
