Section 8(1) in Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Establishment, Recognition, Administration and Control of Institutions of Higher Education) Rules, 1987
(1)Commissionerate of Higher Education are the competent authority to grant or refuse permission for the establishment of various categories of educational institutions indicated under Rule 1 (2).
