Section 1 in The Bengal State Aid To Industries Act, 1931
1. Short title, local extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Bengal State Aid to Industries Act, 1931.(2)It extends to the whole of [West Bengal] [Words substituted for the word 'Bengal' by Indian Independence (Adaptation of Bengal and Punjab Acts) Order, 1948.].(3)It shall come into force on such date as the [State Government] [Words 'Provincial Government' first substituted for the words 'Local Government' by Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937, and thereafter, the word 'State' substituted for the word 'Provincial' by Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] may, by notification, appoint.
