Section 7 in Continuing Dental Education Regulations, 2018

7. Award of CDE points.

- 7.1 The credit points shall be awarded as follows:
(i) Full day lecture or conference (6 hours) 6 CDE points
(ii) Half Day lecture or workshop (3 hours) 3 CDE points
(iii) Evening product introduction/lecturebusiness meeting(60 minutes) 1 CDE points
(iv) Webinar with 60 minutes with Q&A(pointsfor webinar will be given only after answering the question) 1 CDE point
(v) Video Conferencing with 60 minutes(onlyduring the conference) 1 CDE point
(vi) Video Lecture with moderator with 60 minutes 1 CDE point
Note: (i) One credit point shall be equivalent to one hour of CDE programme in conformity with prevailing international norms.(ii)The maximum limit of credit points per day is 6, even if the program goes beyond 6 hours.(iii)Seminars/workshops conducted in an approved/recognised dental college by Dental teaching faculty with PG qualification, will also be considered for awarding CDE credit points
7.2The speakers are eligible to obtain double CDE credit points.
