WRIT PETITION No.37249 of 2013
ORDER:
Heard Sri Mr. G. V. Shivaji, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner and Smt.V. Uma Devi, learned counsel, representing, Smt. K. Udaya Sri, learned counsel, appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.3 and 4 .
2. The petitioner approached the Court seeking the prayer as follows:
"...... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the impugned action of the respondents in awarding labour contract works on nomination basis in favour of particular Tribal Labour Contract co-operative societies and further action in awarding number of contract works in favour of selective Tribal Labour Contract co-operative societies while depriving and denying equal opportunities to the petitioner society as highly illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case."2

3. This Court vide order dated 20.12.2013 passed the orders observing as under:
"In the meantime, the case of the petitioner-society may also be considered along with all other tribal contract labour societies for entrustment of work."
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that by virtue of the interim order of this Court dated 20.12.2013 passed in W.P.No.37249 of 2013, no further orders are necessary.
5. Bringing the said submission on record, the writ petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
