Section 69(1) in Gauhati Municipal Corporation Act, 1971
(1)The Commissioner shall from time to time prepare and lay before the Standing Finance Committee a schedule setting for the designation and grades of the officers and staff other than those mentioned in sub-section (1) of Section 67 who should in his opinion constitute the Corporation establishment indicating the salaries, fees and allowances payable to them.
