Section 8(6) in Chakma Autonomous District Council (Village Councils) Act, 2002
(6)If for any reason the office of the President becomes vacant, the Executive Committee shall cause the vacancy to be filled as soon as possible. In the mean time duties of the office shall be performed by one of the members appointed by the Executive Committee.
