(1)Where any property has been transferred to and vested in the Government under section 50, every person in whose possession or custody or under whose control the property may be, shall deliver the property to the Government forthwith, and until it is so delivered, such person shall from the appointed day, be deemed to be in possession, custody or control of the property on behalf of the Government.
