(2)With the application the applicant shall deposit such fee as may be prescribed by the State Government by rules made in this behalf.Explanation For the purpose of this Chapter, the expression 'proper time' shall mean the date which the custom or practice in a local areas is deemed to be the last date for a division, estimate or appraisement of the crop or the date specified below, whichever may be earlier, namely :(a)in respect of Kharif crop(i)for estimate of appraisement - 5th November or Margashirsh Badi 30, and(ii)for division 5th February of Margashirsh Badi 30;(b)in respect of the Rabi crop(i)for estimate of appraisement - 30th March or Chait Badi 30, and(ii)for division 30th May of Jeth Sudi 15
