Section 16A in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Act, 1971
16A. [ Vice-Chancellor and other officers, etc., to be public servants. [Inserted by Tamil Nadu Act 15 of.1995.]
- The Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar, the Comptroller, the Dean, the Director of Research, the Director of Extension Education and other employees of the University shall be deemed, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act, to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.]
