Section 41(2)(i) in The Meghalaya Co-operative Societies Rules

(i)Where, as an emergent measure the Registrar considers it necessary to suspend forthwith the administrative council, managing or other bodies, and appoint a person or persons, to be in full control of the suspended body until a new body has been elected or action has been taken in accordance with Section 37 the Registrar shall fix the date and time by which the person or persons appointed shall take over charge of the society from the suspended body and prescribe the condition under which they will work.
