Section 1 in The Assam Autonomous Districts Administration of Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1957
1. Short title, extend and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Assam Autonomous Districts Administration of Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1957.(2)It shall extend to the Autonomous Districts of Assam.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may direct and it may be brought into force on such date as the State Government may direct and it may be brought into force in different areas on different dates.
