6. University not to discriminate.
(1)In pursuit of its objectives and in exercise of its powers and in performing of its functions, the University shall not discriminate with any person whosoever on the basis of caste, class, colour, creed, sex-religion, area or race.(2)The University shall adhere to the State Policy in respect of reservation made by the State Government under the Constitution of India or any other law for the time being in force for reserving seats for different categories of students in respect of the State quota for Punjab domicile.
