Section 7(1) in Tamil Nadu Cotton Control Act, 1952
(1)Where a Court trying an offence under this Act or any rule made thereunder, considers that any thing is liable to confiscation under section 6, it may, after hearing the person, if any, claiming any right thereto and evidence, if any, which he may produce in support of his claim, order its confiscation.
