62. Power to rectify apparent mistakes.
- The Government may, at any time within six months from the date of order passed by it under these rules, on its own motion rectify any mistake or error apparent on the face of the record, and shall within like period rectify any such mistake or error which has been brought to its notice by an applicant for the grant of the minor mineral concession:Provided that no such rectification having or purporting to have a prejudicial effect on another applicant for the grant of the mining lease shall be made unless the Government has given such applicant notice of its intention to do so, and have allowed him reasonable opportunity of being heard.
