Section 18(1) in Mental Healthcare (Central Mental Health Authority and Mental Health Review Boards) Rules, 2018
(1)For the purpose of appointment of the chairperson of the Board under clause (a), and the members of the Board under clauses (c) and (d) of sub-section (1) of section 74, the State Authority shall call for applications by giving wide publicity through open advertisement in at least two daily newspapers (one English and one local language) having wide circulation in the State and the advertisement shall also be made available on the website of the State Authority:Provided that the District Collector or District Magistrate or Deputy Commissioner of the district in which the Board is to be constituted shall nominate its representative as the member of the Board under clause (b) thereof.
