The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing the FIR No. 15 dated 05.09.2014, registered under Section 13(1)E read with Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act at Police Station Vigilance Bureau, District Ludhiana.
Heard learned counsel for the rival parties.
Learned counsel for the State submits that the trial has already commenced and out of total 18 witnesses, 03 witnesses have been examined so far.
The record of the case shows that there is no stay order. The balance of convenience is absolutely not in favour of the petitioner.
The petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to take all the pleas, raised in the petition, before the trial Court during trial.
