Section 3(e) in The U.P. Electricity Supply (Consumers) Regulations, 1984
(e)Requisition for temporary supply of electrical energy for illuminations on ceremonial occasions must be made at least 10 days before the supply is required failing which the supplier may, in his discretion, refuse to entertain the requisition.
