Section 42(2) in Tamil Nadu Maritime Board Act, 1995
(2)If the Board to whom a direction is given under sub-section (1) fails of neglects to comply with such direction within the specified period, the Government may cancel any of such scales or make such modifications therein as they may think fit:Provided that, before cancelling or modifying any scale, the Government shall consider any objection or suggestion which may be made by the Board during the specified period.
