52. Penalty for enforcement of street or open space.
- Whoever removes, not being, duly anduirized in that behalf, any earth, sand or other material form or makes any encroachment in or upon, any street or open space which is not a private property, shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees and, in the case of continuing offence, with further fine which may extend to fifty rupees for every day after the first during which such offence continues.
